Sleepy Therapy, by Dr. Matt Konst

 

Dr. Konst is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having left active duty in 2012. He received his PH.D. in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University in 2016. Dr. Konst completed his Doctoral internship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Konst is a Clinical Psychologist, dually licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina.


After serving as a Senior Psychologist for NC DHHS, he transitioned to service within the Veteran’s Health administration. Most recently, Dr. Konst served as the Mental Health Section Chief, overseeing a large interdisciplinary program designed to deploy virtual Mental Health services to Veterans in rural communities. With regard to academia, Dr. Konst has been an Adjunct Professor at Regent University since 2018. He has published three book chapters and 21 peer-reviewed manuscripts.


Permeating his entire career, Dr. Konst has placed an emphasis on meeting the client where they are at and ensuring they receive the high-quality care they deserve.
